Fire Rating
The primary consideration when cloosing a materials grade relates to fire rating:
Do you need Class 1 Fire Rated materials? Is your project governed by building or fire regulations that require it?
You may have a 'Duty of Care' to those around you and may have to consider the risk to them in the event of a fire.
Your insurance company may also have an interest in your choice.
MD PVC, HD PVC, and PVC ceiling panels have Class 1 fire rating; PP is Class 4.
All specification and data sheets are available on request.
